Lacrosse Merge to Create Chicagoland’s
Premier Lacrosse Player Development Company
CHICAGO – Sports Made Personal (SMP),
the Chicago area’s leading player
development and personal training company,
is pleased to announce that it has merged
with Team ONE Lacrosse to create
Chicagoland’s premier lacrosse player
development company. The merger combines
Team ONE’s elite travel lacrosse programming
with SMP’s best-in-class infrastructure to
create the area’s best and most advanced
lacrosse player development platform. The
Team ONE brand will be preserved and its
training staff, regarded by many as
Chicagoland’s best, will remain in place.
“In merging Team ONE’s top-tier teams,
camps and clinics with SMP’s comprehensive
resources and industry expertise, we have
created a truly unique offering that will
provide the area’s very best lacrosse
experience,” said John Combs, Director of
Team ONE. “This merger undoubtedly
strengthens both brands for the ultimate
benefit of the players who we are fortunate
to train, and whose skill and character we
are dedicated to developing.”
Combs continued: “The resources
available to Team ONE as a result of this
merger will enable us to offer the most
comprehensive lacrosse travel program in the
Midwest, including an expanded geographic
reach that ensures our ability to continue
to attract the top lacrosse talent from
across Northern Illinois.” Tryouts for Team
One’s summer program, it’s first since the
merger, will be held on December 11 at 6368
West Howard St. in Niles. For more
